If you are looking for another earning app like JustPlay you may stumble across something called PlayTest Pro (formerly BestPlay). The question is: Can you earn money on PlayTest Pro (BestPlay) the same way you earn money on JustPlay? Is the app legit or a scam?
Fortunately, Mommy Needs Advice experienced the app when it was operating under the name BestPlay and came across it again recently under the name PlayTest Pro. So, here’s our review on whether the app is legit or a scam.
What Is The App, Anyway?
Playtest Pro (former BestPlay) is a money-earning app developed by a company called Bestplay Systems. Like JustPlay, the game offers the opportunity to test games and provide feedback in exchange for loyalty coins.
The app exclusively has games by a developer called PlayValve available for you to download and play. The idea is that you play the games, you get bombarded with tons of advertisements, and you get coins every time you hit a milestone in the various games.

Presently, there are ten different games you can download and play to earn loyalty coins.
One thing that is worth mentioning is that if you had coins left over from when the app was BestPlay they do carry over to this new app. But the value of the coins is sliced in half. I ended up with about 4 million coins just sitting on my account from when I had BestPlay on my phone. The coins only converted to about $0.24.

Unfortunately, if you are looking for a PlayTest Pro (BestPlay) Coin Value Calculator you are not going to find one that is very accurate. From the testing I’ve done on the app, I’ve gathered that one million coins ends up being somewhere between $0.08 and $0.10. So, you are going to need at least 20 million coins to cash out $2 with the app. Don’t let that number scare you though, the coins actually accumulating surprisingly quickly.
PlayTest Pro
If you play a game for 15 minutes, watch every advertisement, and use power-ups before switching to a new game and repeating for another 15 minutes you are going to bank 10K-20K coins every time you hit a milestone/new level in a game.
This means you aren’t going to use this app to get rich or anything. You, however, could make a little cash on the side using this in waiting rooms or just when you are generally bored and playing games on your phone. If you are going to play games on your phone anyway, why not play something that is going to make you a little cash?

As far as our PlayTest Pro (BestPlay) review is concerned, the app is legit and in no way a scam. If you earn enough to cash out, you can hit the button and get an Amazon Gift Card or a PayPal payment. The system is also pretty quick to send the money too. So, you don’t have to worry about waiting a very long time.

One thing to keep in mind is the app did function as BestPlay for a while before it suddenly stopped working. When that happened you could still play the games but you couldn’t cash out or earn any more coins. So, it is important to keep in mind that if the funding dries up this app could just disappear again one day because it has done it before.
How Does It Compare To JustPlay?
There’s a little more game variety with PlayTest Pro compared to JustPlay which is kind of nice. They have a lot of the same style of games. But, I feel like PlayTest Pro has a few that JustPlay doesn’t come close to having. Yahtzee being one of my favorites.
I do think the coins hold a little more value at JustPlay compared to PlayTest Pro. Just spending time with the two I tend to earn enough to cash out faster at JustPlay. But, I like the variety of having them both. Plus, it is generally a good practice to have multiple eggs in your basket and not rely on one source of income.
Overall, this app is Mommy Approved if you are looking for a way to make a little cash in your spare time from your phone. There isn’t any reason not to download this and give it a try. Just make sure you allow the games to track your data or the app cannot track your playtime and reward you loyalty coins properly. Furthermore, given the history this company has I would not make a habit of sitting on your coins. Cash out when you have enough to cash out. This way you don’t end up losing coins if the app suddenly stops working one day.
