The Benjamin app is one of many mobile apps that boast of giving users the option to “earn cash rewards.” On average, the application claims the average user can net an easy $50 per month. Benjamin is a pretty standard “get paid to” mobile app with the option of playing games, watching advertisements, doing surveys, shopping, and performing other tasks for cash rewards.
Unfortunately, the market is saturated with mobile apps offering the option to earn cash with ease. The last thing a mom strapped for time and patience wants to do is spend time earning on an app only to find out later it was a scam. So, is the Benjamin app a legitimate option for earning cash awards? Is it worth putting any time and effort into it? Mommy Needs Advice downloaded the app and tested it for you. Keep reading for our thoughts on this earning app and whether it is legit or a scam.

Residual Earner: Cashback & Daily Bonus
From a residual earnings point of view, you can make a minimum of $3 a month on this app just by having it on your phone and logging into it every day. You open the app, press the daily login bonus, watch an advertisement, and spin the wheel. The app gives you $0.10 a day just for logging in and doing this. After watching the advertisement and spinning the wheel, you have a chance for a bonus too.

With the wheel, you have the opportunity to double or triple your daily login bonus. If you land on the “2x” you get the $0.10 for that day plus an extra $0.20. If you land on the “3x” you get the $0.10 plus an extra $0.30. This means you can earn anywhere from $3 to $12 a month just by opening the app, watching an advertisement, and spinning this wheel every day.

There’s also a daily login streak bonus as well:
Day 10: $0.50 Bonus
Day 20: $1.00 Bonus
Day 30: $1.50 Bonus
So, that is an additional $3 just by logging in and pressing that button every single day for a month. This means you can earn between $6 and $18 a month just by logging in and pressing a button every day.

The Benjamin App Gives CashBack For Shopping
The application also gives you the option to link your bank + debit card. When you do this, you will earn cashback on just about every single purchase you make. The Cashback system is set up with tiers. So, the amount of cashback you get goes up overtime. Initially, the basic tier gives you roughly $0.01 for every $10 you spend.
The cashback really does apply to nearly every purchase. For example, we paid a $200 insurance bill, and the app ended up giving us $0.20 in cash back. The trick with the cashback is to make sure you login to the app every day because you do have to press a button to claim your cashback rewards.
Take Advantage Of Bonus Events
The makers of the app seem to enjoy doing themed bonus events each month as a way to earn some extra cash. In March, for example, you could get an extra $125 as a bonus simply by earning $125 during the month of March. The catch was that you had to download and play at least four new games in their arcade. But, you earned money for downloading and playing the games too.
In April, they want you to download at least 4 new games and earn $40 exclusively through the arcade. If you do that, they will throw you a $20 bonus. If you can manage to find a few games you like and are decent at playing them, this isn’t too hard to accomplish.
The MoMo Update: What’s New?
Benjamin is still Benjamin—but now, money earned inside the app is called “MoMo.” The update also introduced the MoMo Ring, which visually tracks your daily progress. Here’s what else has changed:
- Earnings are now tracked as “MoMo” instead of dollars in the app.
- New interface with the MoMo Ring showing daily earning progress.
- Cashback still exists, but some rules have changed.
- You still need a $25 minimum balance to withdraw your money.
Some users feel like MoMo has lowered earnings, while others appreciate the fresh design. So, does the app still pay? Let’s check.
Proof That Benjamin Pays (With Screenshots)
One of the biggest concerns with money-making apps is whether they actually pay out. Here’s my payment proof from the Benjamin App:
Total Earnings & Wallet Balance
- Total earned: $208.07
- Available balance: $0.34
- Pending balance: $0
Successful Withdrawals
- Same-day payout: $29.24 (Feb 25)
- Same-day payout: $31.97 (Nov 4)
- Instant payout: $84.39 (Jul 22)
- Instant payout: $29.37 (Jun 10)
- Gift card payout: $32.76 (Mar 24)
These payouts prove that Benjamin still pays users, as long as you reach the $25 withdrawal threshold.
Benjamin App: The Downsides
There are two real downsides to the application. The first is the minimum threshold to cash out. You have to reach $30 to withdraw your earnings. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of apps with high withdrawal thresholds. I, however, exceeded the $30 and was able to cash out just by casually playing around with the app for a month.
Their withdrawal system also has some bugs in it. My first withdrawal was a little over $30. I opted for a Walmart Gift Card. It claims to take 48 hours to approve your withdrawal. I didn’t know what to expect, so I waited a full week and nothing happened. I ended up sending in a ticket asking about my withdrawal. Within an hour, customer support responded to my ticket, apologized, and sent me the gift card. So, it was a bit of a bummer that I had to chase the withdrawal. But, they were really fast about fixing the problem. I have not reached the threshold a second time yet to see if this is a continued problem.
Update (March 2025): I’ve now cashed out several times on this app. The first time was just a fluke/some growing pains. I didn’t have any issues getting any of my payments after the first one. They’ve even added a lot more options for cash outs now.
Mommy Approved?
Yes!
Listen, this app is not going to make you rich, and it isn’t going to replace your income by any means. It, however, is a great way to make a little extra cash while you are playing on your phone. If you would benefit from an extra $20-$50 a month, we definitely recommend downloading this one and giving it a try.

Update: As of March 2025, this remains one of my favorite earnings apps. You really are missing out if you don’t have this on your phone. At the very least, you should be using it to get cash back on money you are already spending anyway. Just link it to your bank/debit card and login to collect your cash back earnings every day. It is that easy.
My name is Patrick Wentzell I’ve dealt with scams years ago they lied to me giving false information on being able to earn free money I have sent alert messages regarding them and other wrong doings going on today also Facebook has let me down an can not protect against bad organizations one day I’d like for all bad companies to be shut down .
You earned money with Benjamin and didn’t receive it? I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences with the app and when I had issues customer service in the app always helped. So, I’m a little surprised to hear you claiming it didn’t work out for you.
Have you had any problems with giving Benjamin your banking info?
