The Wrong Way To Use Healing Magic was released in January of this year. The series falls into the Isekai and Comedy genres. Fans of Sword Art OnlineDelicious In The Dungeon, and the hack//Sign franchise will likely find this one enjoyable as well. Initially the name of the series will leave you perplexed. It isn’t until the last few episodes that you come to understand the show’s title.  The series does a great job of clearing it up later on.

The Wrong Way To Use Healing Magic

Ken Usato initially gets stuck at school because its raining outside and he forgets to bring an umbrella. Suzune Inukami and Kazuki Ryusen end up helping him out of his bind and they all walk home together. While walking home, strange happenings ensue, and the three are transported to another world. As it turns out, Suzune Inukami and Kazuki Ryusen have been summoned to this other world, fated to become heroes in a great war. Ken Usato just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and gets transported with them. Things then take an unexpected turn when it is discovered that he has healing magic.

“A typically average high school student who is accidentally transported to another world. He has an affinity for healing magic, one of the rarest affinities; as such, Rose recruits him into the kingdom’s Rescue Team.”

Season 2 Status Update: Renewed Or Canceled?

Unfortunately, The Wrong Way To Use Healing Magic has no production order yet for Season 2. If you are a fan of the show, don’t be dismayed just yet. Based on the positive reviews and reception from the anime community, the probability of a second season is very promising. After all, Season 1 ended by introducing new characters during the credits of the finale. Additionally, the manga version is currently ongoing, which means the showrunners have lots of source material left for the series to work with.
