I saw an ad for Emoji Kingdom Adventure, and like so many of these games, it claimed I could earn real money just by playing. As a mom who’s constantly multitasking, the idea of making a little extra while my kid watches Bluey or during a coffee break sounded kind of amazing. But I’ve seen my fair share of sketchy “get paid to play” apps, so I was already side-eyeing it before I hit download.
Still, I was curious. Is Emoji Kingdom Adventure legit, or is it just another scam dressed up in cute emojis?
I downloaded it, opened the app, and… yeah. Red flags everywhere.
What Is Emoji Kingdom Adventure?
Emoji Kingdom Adventure is a match-3 puzzle game, kind of like Candy Crush but with animated emojis. It’s available for iPhone and iPad on the App Store. The gameplay is simple — match emojis to clear levels and move through different areas of the kingdom.
What’s very interesting, though? The App Store page doesn’t say anything about making money. No screenshots showing cash outs. No mention of rewards. Nothing. So if you’re downloading it thinking it’s a legit way to earn money — that promise only shows up in the ads.
If they’re not advertising the money part on the actual app page… that’s not a good sign.
How Does Emoji Kingdom Adventure Work?
Right when I opened the app — and I mean literally before I touched anything — it showed a “Cash Out” button and said I had $199.00 waiting.
Excuse me?? I just got here.
No intro, no tutorial — just a huge fake balance right in your face. That’s their hook. They want you to think you’ve already earned money just for downloading the game. It’s a psychological trick to get you thinking, “I can’t quit now — I’m so close to cashing out.”
Here’s what happens next:
-
You start playing through a few easy match-3 levels.
-
The fake balance keeps going up — $10 here, $15 there.
-
You see more “bonus” screens telling you you’re just one step away from getting paid.
-
After nearly every level, you have to watch an ad.
-
Then they tell you you can cash out once you reach Level 10.
It’s designed to keep you engaged just long enough to make money off you — through ads. And when you do get close to Level 10? Suddenly the levels get way harder, the app might lag, or it “crashes.” Anything to stop you from reaching that goal.
It’s like they’re dangling $200 in front of you, then yanking it away when you reach for it.
How Much Money Can You Make?
Spoiler: you’re not actually going to make any money.
The app flashes big fake earnings like $199, $300, or even $800 — but it’s not real. There’s no proof anyone’s ever been paid. No cash out screenshots. No actual user reviews talking about money. Just ads, ads, and more ads.
It’s not designed to pay you. It’s designed to get paid by you — in the form of ad revenue.
Every time you watch a 30-second ad thinking you’re a step closer to that payout… they’re the only ones getting paid.
How Do You Cash Out?
Supposedly, you can cash out after beating Level 10.
But “beating” Level 10 is where the game pulls its biggest trick. It suddenly becomes way too hard. Or it bugs out. Or it hits you with a “processing” screen that never goes away. And even if you do manage to get past it, it might then tell you you need to reach a new goal before your “money” is released.
And let’s be honest — no legit payout app gives you $199.00 before you’ve even played. That’s not how money-making games work.
Oh, and even though the game flashes a PayPal button, there’s no mention of payouts on the App Store page. Apple’s pretty strict about money-related features — which is probably why the developers keep that part off the record.
Is Emoji Kingdom Adventure Legit or a Scam?
Let’s call it what it is: Emoji Kingdom Adventure is a fake cash out app.
It’s not going to steal your credit card info or hack your phone. But it is going to trick you into thinking you’re making money, only to leave you with nothing but wasted time and a bunch of watched ads.
Here’s the other thing — the App Store reviews are super fishy. It has a high rating, but almost none of the reviews mention earning money. They just talk about the gameplay being fun. That’s another red flag. A real “get paid to play” app would have people bragging about getting their PayPal cash. But here? Silence.
Feels like they paid for those reviews or wrote them themselves, if I’m being honest.

Final Verdict
Emoji Kingdom Adventure is not legit. It’s one of those fake get-paid-to-play games that shows you big dollar signs up front, then keeps moving the goalposts while milking you for ad views.
If you’re a mom looking to earn a few bucks during your downtime, this isn’t it. Save your time and sanity. There are legit apps out there — but this one just isn’t on that list.
Still kinda salty about the fake $199. I already had it spent in my head.
