Breaking news: The anime TV adaptation of the manga Rock Is A Lady’s Modesty (Shukujo no Tashinami de Shite) has been confirmed.

Hiroshi Fukuda, the creator of the manga series, excitedly took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share the thrilling news.

I’m thrilled to announce that my manga about elegant ladies passionately engaging in intense rock, Rock is a Lady’s Modesty, will be adapted into an anime!!!

I am excited to see how the instrumental rock performances, without any vocals, will be portrayed! Please look forward to it, everyone!!

Rock Is A Lady’s Modesty Anime TV Adaptation Announced

Per Crunchyroll, this exciting news comes with little detail beyond confirmation of the adaptation. It, however, was also confirmed that the The anime TV adaptation of the manga Rock Is A Lady’s Modesty (Shukujo no Tashinami de Shite) would have a 2025 release date. Whether that release is at the beginning of the year or the end of the year, however, is presently unclear. Furthermore, it is far too early to know whether the series would also snag an Eng Dub or if it will only be available in Eng Sub.

What Is The Series About?

Presently, four volumes of this manga have been released. There is a fifth volume scheduled for release next Monday (July 29th, 2024).

The series follow a girl named Ririsa Suzunomiya. After her mother gets re-married to a real estate tycoon, Ririsa is forced to give up her love for the guitar. Instead, she is sent to a prestigious girls’ school to learn to be a “proper lady.” Things change when Ririsa Suzunomiya meets a drummer named Otowa Kurogane. Together, her love for music and the guitar is revived as they start a band.
