He Went That Way (2023) was part of Hulu’s May 2024 release. It is an unrated crime/thriller documentary that was first released on June 9th, 2023. Directed by Jeffrey Darling, the series stars Jacob Elordi and Zachary Quinto as Bobby and Jim. If this mom is being completely honest, I watched this because is stars Jacob Elordi and….. well, he’s attractive. Does there really need to be another reason?

He Went That Way (2023) Review: Stream Or Skip?
Do the Moms here at Mommy Needs Advice recommend this movie? The honest answer is: No! Our official recommendation is that you should just skip the movie. It took me three days of pausing and coming back to it to finish — and it is only an hour and 36 minutes long. Turns out, this isn’t a controversial opinion. The movie has pretty poor ratings and views across the board.

Spanky (the monkey) is really the most enjoyable part of the movie. There is one very brief intimate scene involving Jacob Elordi and Zachary Quinto (along with two young ladies) in a hotel room. The scene is almost a little awkward to watch and it is very brief.
For the record, it is pretty rare that I just genuinely do not like a movie. But, despite the attractive cast members and my hopeful optimism for its ability to entertain me –I really couldn’t find the appeal. In fact, I wanted to save myself and jump ship halfway through, and only watched the entire thing hoping it might get better by the end. Newsflash: It never got any better.
